A horror movie, remake movie of the 2004 version, based on The Island of Doctor Moreau by H.G. Wells – directed by Charles Band
The King of Kings
An animated movie featuring Charles Dickens as a fictional character – directed by Seong-ho Jang, with the voices of Pierce Brosnan, Oscar Isaac, and Kenneth Branagh
Sherlock & Daughter
A series based on the stories of Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle. It is only inspired by the character of Sherlock. It is not an adaptation but a new modern take.
The first episode of the first season was released on April 16, on The CW, with David Thewlis and Blu Hunt.
The Death of Snow White
A dark fantasy movie, based on Snow White by the Grimm Brothers.

Miss Austen
A mini-series of 4 episodes, based on the lives of Jane Austen and her sister, with Patsy Ferran and Keeley Hawes.

Hamnet
A movie inspired by the life of William Shakespeare, but from the point of view of his wife Anne. It is centred around the time of their only son’s death and how this event fueled Shakespeare’s creativity.
