William Shakespeare

William Shakespeare was an English poet and playwright of the Elizabethan Age. As he is a major figure in English literature, determining his most notable work is a difficult task. The most famous ones are the plays Hamlet (1599), Macbeth (1606), and Romeo and Juliet (1597). He is also renowned for his Sonnets.
