Virginia Woolf

Virginia Woolf was an English writer of the early 20th century. She was one of the earliest writers to use stream of consciousness as a literary device. It enables the reader to follow the story from an internal point of view and experience the flow of the protagonist's thought processes. Her most notable works are the novel Mrs Dalloway, published in 1925, and the essay A Room of One's Own, published in 1929.
