H.G. Wells

H.G. Wells was an English writer at the turn of the 20th century. His most famous works are the science fiction novels The Time Machine, published in 1895, and The War of the Worlds, published in 1898. He is one of the earliest science fiction writers; that's why he is often called "the father of science fiction".
