Ernest Hemingway

Ernest Hemingway was an American writer of the first half of the 20th century. His most famous work is the novella The Old Man and the Sea, published in 1952. Other notable works are the novels For Whom the Bell Tolls, published in 1940, and A Farewell to Arms, published in 1929. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature.
