Edgar Allan Poe

Edgar Allan Poe was an American writer of the first half of the 19th century. He is one of the most important authors in the Gothic genre, and he wrote mostly short stories and poems. His most famous works are the short stories The Fall of the House of Usher, published in 1840, and The Tell-Tale Heart, published in 1843. His most famous poem is The Raven, published in 1845.
