Cornell Woolrich

Cornell Woolrich was an American writer of the first half of the 20th century. His most famous works are the crime novel The Bride Wore Black, published in 1940 and the short story "It Had to Be Murder", published in 1944 in the collection After-Dinner Story. This short story was adapted into the movie Rear Window by Alfred Hitchcock.
